The purpose of  the Developing Interventions for Latino Children, Youth, and Families conference series is to:

• Advance knowledge and methods of integrating cultural constructs into existing and new interventions
• Support future grant applications and publications in the field of Latino mental health interventions

2008 Conference

• Evaluation of recent adaptations to existing psychosocial interventions that integrate cultural constructs of diverse Latino groups

2007  and 2006 Conferences

• Identifying and operationalizing conceptual definitions of core  cultural constructs of diverse Latino groups, and transforming the constructs into intervention-behaviors for therapists to use with clients
